Lucas Campos holds a degree in Cinema and Audiovisual from Centro Universitário UNA, in Belo Horizonte. He was director of photography, producer, screenwriter and editor of the short film “Super Estrela Prateada” (2018), winner of the awards for Outstanding Artistic Contribution at the Brazilian University Film Festival, Best Short Film at the Guesa Errante Competitive Exhibition at the II São Luís International Film Festival, Best Short Film by the Official Jury and Popular Jury of the University Competitive Exhibition of the 8th Sercine, winner of the “Troféu Passagem”, awarded by the Official Jury of the 2nd Metrô: Festival do Cinema Universitário Brasileiro, in addition to having been screened in 2 international and 9 national film festivals.
He was cinematographer, produced, scripted and edited the short film “Quando é lá fora" (2016); winner of the Popular Jury prizes at the 3rd Lumiar: Inter-American University Film Festival (2016) and Best Screenplay at the 1st Sesc Film Festival (2017), in addition to having been screened at 2 international and 5 national film festivals. He was director, cinematographer and editor of the video for “Duas Intenções” by Izabel Sabino, 2017, selected for the Videoclip Sessions show at Napoli Film Festival, in Italy. He also directed, photographed and edited the video for “Pólen”, by Hot and Oreia, featuring Froid, which has over 2 million views on Youtube.
In addition, he directed, photographed and edited more than 15 video clips with artists such as Hot and Oreia, DV Tribo, Fenda, Mayí, Malcom VL, Iza Sabino, Moons, Young Lights, Coyote Beatz, Froid, Major RD, Akira Presidente, Guetto ZN , Xaga, Leo Marques, Isabel Lenza and Igrow. He directed, scripted, photographed and also edited the fashion film and editorial for the collections “Viagem para Quando”, by Paula Melo, and “Padma”, by Barbara Prado. He directed two experimental shorts: “The transducer's dance” and “Self-portrait”, this finalist at the Riga Digital Forum festival in Latvia. He was an editing intern at the production company Filmes de Plástico. He is a founding partner of the production company Limão Capeta Filmes. He lives in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais.
